With more than two decades of experience in digital product design, Chanetsa (Chan) leads the Design Standards practice at Absa, helping shape the digital experiences millions of customers rely on across Africa.

Working at the intersection of design, technology and governance, he builds the standards, patterns and ways of working that enable product teams to create consistent, accessible and trustworthy experiences at scale. His work spans design systems, UX governance, accessibility, AI-enabled design operations and design leadership, all driven by a belief that trust is earned through every interaction, not just the moments customers remember.
